Nice Ride

Last week my car spent six days at the auto repair shop. A dozen little things has the same affect on the pocket book as one big thing. OUCH!

Owning a car is like having a child to put through college. More money, more money, more money.
I have a nice car that I really like. I enjoy driving it but the truth is I don’t really need it. I currently work within two miles of my home.
On my days off my car is often parked in my apartment building’s garage.
I live in a great area for walking; with shops and places to chill nearby.
I do a lot of walking but I must admit, I don’t enjoy walking in L.A.
L.A is a driver’s city.
I took the bus to work several times last week, while my car was out of commission and was reminded how different the bus culture here is from NYC, San Francisco and Paris.
But there are other transportation options I could get used to.
But who am I kidding?
What I really want is a motorcycle.
And I want to drive it in Paris.
But you knew that.
